One seat on Oakland ballot

One commissioner is unopposed and the other has one opponent for the March municipal election.

Three people have qualified for a seat on the Oakland Town Commission, but only two will face each other in the March 8 Municipal Election in the town of Oakland.

Town Commissioner Joseph McMullen had no opposition for his Seat 4 and will serve an additional four-year term.

Two residents qualified for Seat 1, currently occupied by Town Commissioner Rick Polland. Polland will run for another four-year term and is being opposed by Matthew Bunevich.
