Ramp on State Road 429 to be under repaving

Winter Garden residents are going to have to deal with construction on State Road 429, which will include ramp and lane closures during the week of Jan. 31 to Feb. 4, as announced on Monday. 

The ramp from SR 50/Colonial Drive to northbound SR 429 is scheduled to close overnight on Monday, Jan. 31, and Tuesday, Feb. 1, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., for paving operations. Drivers will be directed to exit on eastbound SR 50/Colonial Drive and follow the detour signs. 

With extra construction going on, residents are encouraged to exercise caution.
