Winter Garden opens Boyd parking lot

The finished project in the downtown area provides 117 vehicle spaces and seven golf cart spaces.

The new North Boyd Street parking lot is open in Winter Garden. The parking lot, located at 37 N. Boyd St., boasts 117 vehicle parking spaces and seven spaces reserved for golf carts. An additional three flex spaces can be used for three golf carts or one vehicle.
The asphalt parking lot was created within two city-owned parcels and is an expansion of the previous parking lot in its place. The scope of the four-month construction project included improvements to drainage, landscaping, irrigation and lighting. A bicycle repair shelter at the southwest corner of the parking lot will be added in late September.

PLANT-WOODLAND LOT TEMPORARILY CLOSING
The parking lot at Plant and Woodland streets will be closed from 6 a.m. Monday, June 13, through 6 a.m. Thursday, June 16. The closure is due to necessary sealcoating and restriping. No vehicles will be permitted to park in this lot during this time.
