The West Orange Chamber of Commerce has welcomed two new board members: Wendal Lowrey, program manager for business engagement at CareerSource Central Florida; and Jim Zeitschel Jr., branch manager for the Orlando Team at PrimeLending, a national mortgage lender.

Lowrey is a native of Fort Lauderdale and moved to the Central Florida area two years ago. He manages a team of business consultants and program coordinators under the $15 million Level Up Orange Grant. He’s also responsible for engaging with businesses across Orange County and providing business strategies/employment solutions to move companies forward.

Lowrey previously worked as a Centurion Membership manager for American Express. He is a former All-American quarterback and played professionally in NFL Europe for the Amsterdam Admirals in the early 1990s.

Zeitschel, the leader of the Chamber’s Thursday Networking Group for several years, is a seasoned lending professional with more than 17 years of experience. His diverse and expansive experience brought him to PrimeLending in 2021. In his off time, he enjoys visiting the local theme parks, with an emphasis on his love of Mickey Mouse’s house.

He also is focused on giving back to the community and supports several local organizations through his volunteer and philanthropic efforts.

Stina D’Uva, WOCC president/CEO said: “The experience that Wendal and Jim bring and knowledge, complements that of their new, fellow board members. I look forward to their contributions to the Chamber and community.”

The Community and Supporting Trustee programs offer increased brand exposure, access to key business and political leaders, and a much-defined, highly valuable list of benefits.
