Lakeview Middle looking for items for kindness closet

Lakeview Middle School has a kindness closet for students and families, and the administration is looking for donations to stock the closet for the new school year.

This is a place where children and families can go if they are in need of anything through the school year and the summer. The closet is low on nonperishable food items, such as macaroni and cheese, Hamburger Helper, pasta and sauces; underwear in varying sizes for female and male; and feminine hygiene items.

Anyone in the community who can help is asked to drop off the items at the main office of Lakeview, 1200 W. Bay St., Winter Garden.
