Horizon West resident Alan Ogletree is working to host a community concert for residents in West Orange County.

With a heart brimming with love for his community, Ogletree said he envisions an extraordinary event that will bring neighbors closer and create lasting memories for families.

His dream? A field-style concert where laughter, music and togetherness resonate through the air.

Ogletree is asking for the community's support to help fund the concert through a GoFundMe. His goal is to raise $6,500.

According to Ogletree, 85% of the proceeds will be dedicated to funding the event itself, ensuring every attendee experiences a safe, enjoyable and memorable time.

He has also pledged 10% of the donations to be donated to a local ministry or charity chosen by the coordinators of the event.

In addition, 5% of the funds will be set aside as administrative costs.

"Imagine the joy on children's faces as they dance to their favorite tunes, families laughing together as they enjoy delicious food and drinks, and neighbors forging lifelong connections under the starlit sky," Ogletree wrote in the GoFundMe. "Your contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in bringing this heartwarming vision to life."
