Water Spring Middle School is set to present Disney's High School Musical 2 Jr. this weekend.

The play follows popular girl Sharpay at the Lava Springs Country Club as she reigns supreme while the Wildcats get to work.

"Featuring every ounce of the light-hearted fun that made High School Musical a household name, this buoyant sequel follows our East High favorites as they face the realities of the adult world and begin to grow up," the play description states. "Friendships are tested, summer romances go haywire and the meaning of success is redefined."

The show is based off the book by David Simpatico and on a Disney Channel original movie written by Peter Barsocchini.

The songs are from Bryan Louiselle, Faye Greenberg, David N. Lawrence, Matthew Gerrard, Robbie Nevil, Randy Petersen, Kevin Quinn, Adam Watts, Jamie Houston and Andy Dodd, with music adapted, arranged, and produced by Bryan Louiselle.

This event will take place at Horizon High School with several different showtimes available on Friday, Feb. 3, and Saturday, Feb. 4.

Those who wish to purchase tickets can do so here.
