SOBO Art Gallery searching for high school artists

Local students will have the opportunity to submit art entries into the “High School Awards” exhibition.

The SOBO Art Gallery is searching for local high school artists to enter submissions into its newest exhibit. 

The “High School Awards” exhibition will include 2D and 3D works of art to be entered into the following categories: Best of Show, People’s Choice, Curator’s Choice and Multiple Medium Category Winners.

The submission window for the exhibit will be open until March 8. 

Only 25 winning pieces will be chosen to be displayed. The accepted list will be posted by 5 p.m. on March 15. If the art is accepted, drop off will be from 1-3 p.m. on Friday, March 31.

The opening reception for the exhibit will take place at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, at Winter Garden City Hall.
