WPD partnering with OneBlood for blood drive event

The event will take place from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 30, in the town of Windermere.

The Windermere Police Department is partnering with OneBlood next week to help those in need.

The Big Red Bus will be joining the Windermere Farmers Market Friday, June 30.

The department is aiming to reach the goal of 10 life-saving donations. 

Those who choose to donate will receive a $20 eGift Card, a first responder T-shirt and a wellness checkup. 

The bus will be parked along West Sixth Avenue, in between Town Square Park and the Town Administrative/Police complex.

The bus will take donations from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Appointments are encouraged for the event.
