Ocoee pool opens May 13

The Family Aquatic Center pool will be available for lessons and regular swim.

The city of Ocoee is opening its pool for the summer from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 13. Day admission fees are $1 for infants, children, and seniors 65 and older; and $1.50 for adults 18 and older.

The Ocoee Family Aquatic Facility is located at 1820 A.D. Mims Road adjacent to the Jim Beech Recreation Center. The aquatic facility features a zero-depth entry pool with a maximum depth of 4 feet and includes three distinct play features. The city provides chairs, recliners and tables throughout the pool deck.

Children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult or guardian 18 years or older to enter the facility. Those 6 and younger must have an adult or guardian 18 years or older with them at all times. Food, alcoholic beverages and glass containers are not allowed on the pool deck.
