Oakland hosting porch story time

Families can meet at the heritage center for a story and activity.

The town of Oakland and the Orange County Library System are inviting families to Story Time on the Porch at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 1. It will take place on the porch of the Healthy West Orange Arts & Heritage Center, 126 W. Petris Ave.

Participants can listen to a children’s book and participate in a free activity. The event is most appropriate for children ages 2 to 6, but all little ones are welcome to attend.
