Obituary: Arthur James "Art" Mack Sr.

Arthur James "Art" Mack, Sr., departed this life on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, in Detroit, Michigan. Arthur was born on June 9, 1944, in Winter Garden, Florida. He attended Charles R. Drew School and later owned his own retail store.

He is survived by two daughters, Taniesha Alston, Michelle Mitchell; two sons, Arthur Mack Jr., Eddie (Carmalita) Keith; four brothers; 13 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at the church. A service of celebration will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at New Inspiration Missionary Baptist Church, 617 S. Lakeview Ave., Winter Garden. Interment: Edgewood Cemetery, Apopka. Postell’s Mortuary Pine Hills Chapel is providing service for the Mack family.
