Pilars to host UCF Flying Horse Big Band concert

The event will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, in downtown Winter Garden.

Pilars will host a UCF Flying Horse Big Band concert later this month.

The event will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, in downtown Winter Garden.

The UCF Flying Horse Big Band is directed by Jeff Rupert and is the University of Central Florida's premier jazz ensemble.

Jason Marsalis, new drum professor, and Jeff Moore, head of jazz studies, will also be in attendance to play a few tunes. 

The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Pilars Loft, 146 W. Plant St., Suite 120, Winter Garden.

Doors for the show will open at 6:30 p.m.

Artist circle support tickets are $60 and include a reserved table, as well as tickets for two, three, or four people.

General admission tickets are $25 with no reserved seating and $15 for student admission. ID is required at the door.
