The town of Windermere and the Windermere Police Department hosted its annual awards ceremony Friday, Feb. 16, at Family Church in the downtown Windermere area.
The event, which first started in 2023, honors town staff, police officers and community partners.
This year, the ceremony began with friends and family enjoying hors d'oeuvres before heading to the auditorium for the presenting of the awards and recognitions.
The WPD Honor Guard completed the Presentation of Colors before Chaplain Andy Jones led attendees in an invocation.
Opening remarks were given by Town Manager Robert Smith and WPD Chief Dave Ogden.
Before the presentation of awards, guests also viewed a video montage of some of the most notable events from the year.
Public Works Director Tonya Elliott-Moore gave the closing remarks.
