Macy's announces opening date in Winter Garden Village

The new location will host five children and their families from local nonprofit Eight Waves for a shopping event for summer essentials ahead of the ribbon cutting.

Macy's has announced its opening date for the new Winter Garden Village location

The store's grand opening will take place at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at 3215 Daniels Road, Winter Garden.

The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, giveaways, music and, of course, shopping.

Ahead of the opening, the store also will host five children and their families from local nonprofit Eight Waves for a shopping event for summer essentials at 9 a.m. Friday, May 24. 

In addition, three other events will take place throughout the summer, targeting a total of 25 children from the organization, which invests in the lives of children, youth and families who live in under-resourced communities. 

Macy's Winter Garden Village will offer an immersive shopping experience, providing both convenience and discovery in an easy-to-navigate shopping environment. 

Located in shopping centers, customers can shop a curated assortment of Macy's distinctive fashion, on-trend beauty, luxury fragrances and more. The stores also collaborate with local businesses to create pop-up shops and events that cater to customer preferences. 

Shoppers can explore fashionable trends, must-haves and new seasonal merchandise. These stores provide a range of categories, including men's, women's and kids' fashion, beauty products, toys, luggage, and giftable items. 

Categories feature renowned brands like Levi’s, MAC and Calvin Klein, as well as Macy’s private brands, such as INC, Bar III, And Now This, On 34th and the newest private brand, State of Day. 

Customers can enjoy all the benefits of the full-line Macy’s stores, including the 'At Your Service' desk, which helps with bill payments, returns and exchanges. They also can take advantage of 'Buy Online Pickup In-store' and curbside options for items available on 

Customers can continue to enroll, earn and redeem Star Rewards, and they can also use their Macy's credit card at all Macy’s locations.
