West Orange football's Nico Marti signs for Mars Hill University

The do-it-all lineman will take his talents to the North Carolina-based school.

West Orange football’s Nico Marti officially signed his national letter of intent to play college ball at Mars Hill University.

“I want to thank everybody that helped me through this process,” Marti said in a social media post. “I (want to) give a special thanks to Coach Danny, Coach Ike, Coach Thompson, Coach Furrey, Coach Aron, and all my high school coaches for making my dream a reality! I wanna give a huge thanks to all my family, especially my parents, for all they sacrificed for me. I also want to thank Mr. Jeff for guiding me throughout this process and thanks all the coaches who recruited me in this process. … With all that being said, (I) would like to announce my commitment to Mars Hill University!”
