Central Florida Christian Academy has announced the launch of Eagle Training Academy, an athletic development program open to all student-athletes interested in receiving high-level athletic skills training.

"ETA’s mission is to build the premier, Christ-centered athletic skills training academy in Central Florida," said Rebekah Day, the lead for the Academy's launch team. "We strive to achieve this through excellent facilities, outstanding coaches and trainers and a safe, professional environment where athletes can grow not only in their sport but also in character and faith."

Student-athletes interested in joining ETA can expect high-level skills training tailored to their sport, mentorship from experienced coaches and an encouraging community that pushes them to excel both on and off the court or field.

The Eagle Training Academy launch team led by Day, a former college basketball player at Southeastern University and college, high school and youth coach, is comprised of CFCA boys basketball coach Albert Settles, CFCA girls basketball coach Tommie Butts, athletic trainer Yves Saintelo — who’s worked with current NBA players and has a Master’s Degree in counseling — and Ana German, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with over 25 years of basketball coaching and playing experience.

ETA’s launch team is actively preparing for its next training sessions and camps, with more details to be announced soon. For more information on the newly formed training program, follow its Instagram account @eagletrainingacademyfl or reach out directly via email at [email protected].
