Horizon West Theater Company opens teen auditions for 'Between the Lines'

Local teens looking for something creative to do this summer have a new opportunity to take the stage. 

Horizon West Theater Company has opened auditions for its upcoming Mainstage production of "Between the Lines," a musical based on the novel by Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer.

The show tells the story of Delilah, a teenage girl who escapes into a fairytale book only to discover the prince inside can talk back. As she becomes more involved in the magical world of the book, Delilah must decide what’s real and what’s fantasy in her search for connection and a happy ending.

This is not a pay-to-play or summer camp program. The production is part of Horizon West Theater Company’s teen mainstage series and is open to performers ages 13 to 19.

In-person auditions will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, with callbacks scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 11. Both will take place at TownePlace Suites – Flamingo Crossings, located at 13295 Hartzog Road in Winter Garden.
