Ocoee citizens invited to fish with local officers

Residents are invited to cast a line and connect with local law enforcement at “Casting with a Cop,” a free fishing event hosted by the Ocoee Police Department.

The event will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, at Bill Breeze Park in Ocoee.

Fishing gear and bait will be provided for participants, but quantities are limited. No prior experience is necessary. Officers will be available to assist fishing off the pier and engage in conversations with community members. Get Hooked Bait and Tackle sponsors the event.
