Horizon High football player Evan Reinhart has announced his commitment to play college ball at Stetson University, selecting the Hatters over various other offers.

“I am excited to announce I have committed to play for Stetson Football,” he wrote in an instagram post. “I want to thank my parents and coaches for all of their support along the way!”

Reinhart, a 6-foot-6, 320-pound versatile offensive lineman, has been a crucial part of the Hawks’ run-heavy offense — often deployed as the lead blocker from a variety of positions across the line. His play on the field earned him All-Orange Observer and All-West Metro first-team honors, as well as selections to both the Shrine Bowl All-Star team and Cure Bowl All-Star team.
