Orange County Public Works has completed $300,000 in upgrades to the intersection of Reams Road, Ficquette Road and Summerlake Park Boulevard.

The improvements include extending the Summerlake Park Boulevard through/right-turn lane; optimizing traffic signal timing; adding new pavement markings and signs; and improving drainage with curb and gutter construction.

This intersection has seen significant delays due to nearby construction and heavy Disney commuter traffic, District 1 Orange County Commissioner Nicole Wilson said.
