An elementary school teacher in Horizon West was arrested and faces child abuse and domestic violence charges.

Investigators said teacher Tina Will got into an argument with her husband at their home.

The argument prompted the couple’s children to come downstairs and intervene, asking their dad to go upstairs and away from Will.

Then, Will decided to go up the stairs and kick down a door before starting an argument with her children.

Investigators said the woman pulled a “handful of hair” out of her son’s head and then was pushed away, where she fell over and hit her face on a metal basket organizer.

Will had to be taken to the hospital for treatment.

An Orange County Public Schools employee since 2022, Will now is on administrative leave at Water Spring Elementary.
