Windermere Preparatory School is asking for candy donations.
Instead of trashing leftover and excessive candy, the school asks community members to donate it for Treats for Troops.
The school’s Wounded Warrior club and Parent Volunteer Association will take the candy and create care packages for U.S. troops.
“A small treat can make a big difference,” the school’s social read.
The school will take donations from Monday, Nov. 3 to Friday, Nov. 7.
Drop-off areas include Windermere Prep’s divisional offices, middle and high schools’ learning commons or Room A-135.
