Families and students of Sand Lake Elementary got together for a fun afternoon of carnival games, activities and community Thursday, April 24.
With more than 200 people in attendance, the carnival was one for the books.
Carnival games, temporary tattoos, inflatable slides, soccer targets and axe-throwing were some of the activities students enjoyed.
Stilt walkers creating balloon sculptures and pony rides were new this year, bringing new activities for all to enjoy.
A petting zoo also was among the many attractions students enjoyed, with tortoises, chickens, bunnies and more.
Attendees also brought non-perishable food items to donate to the Stingray’s Let’s Eat food pantry.
