Obituary: Harold Robert Underwood

Harold Underwood, 91, passed away on July 1, 2026. Born in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, in 1934, he moved to Florida in 1959 and his jobs took him to South America, Saudi Arabia and back to Florida. 

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 61 years, Jeannette, his son Roger and two great-grandchildren. 

He is survived by his son, Steve; daughter Mari (Steve); daughter Cindy (Gene); wife of 11 years (Ruth) and her family. Also remaining are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends. 

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 8, 2026, at Woodlands Lutheran Church, 15333 County Road 455, Montverde, Florida 34756.
