Community Health Centers announces new board members

Winter Garden's Jared Nordlund is one of two who have been appointed to the center's board of directors.

Community Health Centers has welcomed two new board members. 

One of the board members is Winter Garden's Jared Nordlund, and the other is Apopka's Richard Cieslak.

“These two accomplished leaders bring extensive experience in public affairs, financial leadership, advocacy and community engagement,” said Dr. Melissa Singh, chairperson of the Community Health Centers board of directors. “Their perspectives and expertise will help strengthen our mission as we continue expanding access to quality healthcare services for the communities we serve.”

Nordlund is a  civic engagement and strategic public affairs leader with more than 15 years of experience "advancing policy advocacy, coalition building and voter-engagement initiatives across the state and nationally. 

He also currently serves as the Florida state director for UnidosUS.

Nordlund has helped secure millions in funding for community-focused programs and has led large-scale civic engagement efforts that have impacted thousands of Florida residents.
