Horizon High announces Nathan Schreckengost as the baseball team's head coach

The Hawks hired Nathan Schreckengost, former assistant coach, to take over the program.

Horizon High announced its former assistant baseball coach, Nathan Schreckengost, will step into the head coaching role for the upcoming season. 

Schreckengost played for Winter Garden Little League before his time as a varsity player on West Orange High's baseball team. He graduated from West Orange in 2016 and went on to play college baseball at Lander University. 

As a college player, Schreckengost was a first baseman and recorded a .280 batting average in 154 games played with 100 runs and a .473 slugging percentage.
