The summer is the perfect time for students to receive their physicals for sports and school, and Shepherd's Hope wants to help.

The nonprofit is partnering with Nemours Children's Health and Who We Play For to provide free physicals for children ages 18 and under who are uninsured.

Appointments are available from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 23, and Tuesday, July 28, as well as from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 1 at the West Orange Health Center.

The West Orange Health Center is located at 455 Ninth St. in Winter Garden.

Children will be able to receive physicals for school and sports, and Who We Play For will provide electrocardiograms if needed.
