Winter Garden Fire Rescue Department earns highest ISO rating

Officials from the city of Winter Garden announced its fire rescue department achieved a Class 1 Insurance Services Office Public Protection Classification rating, which is the highest rating awarded to a fire department. 

"This achievement places Winter Garden among the top 1% of more than 40,000 fire departments rated nationwide, demonstrating the department’s dedication to protecting the residents, businesses and visitors of Winter Garden," the announcement said. 

The city recommends property owners notify their insurance agents of the new ISO Class 1 rating, which might lower premiums.
