The West Orange Habitat For Humanity's Women Build annual event was its most successful yet.

More than 200 women raised funds to address the Central Florida housing crisis.

They raised nearly $250,000 for the cause, and also spent Saturday, May 2, building homes.

Seven homes were built in a single day.

Women and Habitat Families worked alongside each other to make that happen.

"Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated and built homes with us this year," West Orange Habitat for Humanity shared in a newsletter.
