Two Southwest Orange Orlando Health hospitals earn 'A'

Two Southwest Orange Orlando Health hospitals have received the top grade in the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade. 

Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips and Orlando Health Horizon West hospitals earned 'A' grades for spring 2026. 

“We are incredibly proud of the ‘A’ grades and our teams who deliver the highest quality care every day,” said Suzanne Worthington, Orlando Health's chief quality officer. “These results reinforce the high standards we hold ourselves to when it comes to accountability, safety and strengthening our patients’ trust in us.”

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is based on hospital prevention of medical errors, infections and injuries that cause more than 500 mortalities per day nationally.
