Ocoee Fire seeks volunteers for Citizens Advisory Council

The city of Ocoee is accepting applications to fill two vacancies on the Citizens Advisory Council for the fire department.

The Ocoee Fire Department is looking for two Ocoee residents to serve on its Citizens Advisory Council.

The city of Ocoee is acceptive applications to fill the two vacancies. 

Once appointed, the council members will serve a three-year term.

The council serves as a link between the community and the fire department. It focuses on improving community communication and education as well as assisting with fire safety outreach in schools and community programs. 

To be eligible, the applicant must be an Ocoee resident, owner of real property in Ocoee or own a business located in the city. 

To apply, people should complete the board application form and submit it to the Office of the City Clerk or email it to [email protected].
