The Oakland Nature Preserve recently received a Challenge Match Grant totaling $10,000.

The preserve has raised $7,265, or 73%. It needs to raise another $2,735 by Tuesday, June 30, to be able to receive the matching grant.

"Your donation will be matched, dollar for dollar, so your contribution will have double the impact," its website reads. "Together we can meet the goal to raise $10,000 by June 30th. Thank you for your continued support of Oakland Nature Preserve."

Checks can be made to Oakland Nature Preserve and mailed to P.O. Box 841, Oakland.

Cash also can be dropped into a donation bin at the preserve.

The $20,000 will go toward ONP's environmental programs.
