Parents and children alike enjoyed a night of fun, games, food and community during Saturday's festivities.
It was an incredible night of fun and community as Independence celebrated its 15th birthday on Saturday, March 30.
Residents flocked to the town square to enjoyed cupcakes and ice cream in the community center, while kids played games and danced the afternoon away. Meanwhile food trucks were on hand to offer up tasty, local grub for those looking for real food.
The night's highlight was the lighting of lanterns that were left to float in the pool in front of the clocktower, before a viewing of Disney's "Tangled" capped of the festivities.
