The Windermere Police Department and Mayor Jim O’Brien escorted the Easter Bunny through town distributing Easter bags to kids along the way.
The Windermere Police Department, Windermere Mayor Jim O’Brien and town staff helped to escort the Easter Bunny through town for its annual Easter event on Saturday, April 16.
The event marked the third year of Operation Easter Bunny.
The police department traveled throughout town for more than two hours greeting residents, waving, shouting Easter greetings and distributing more than 400 Easter bags to kids along the way.
The Easter bags contained goodies including small toys, chocolates and candies.
