County officers to take oath of office

Orange County’s constitutional officers will be sworn in Tuesday morning.

Orange County officials are holding the oath of office ceremony for five constitutional officers at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5. It will take place at the Orange County Administration Building, 201 S. Rosalind Ave., Orlando.

The ceremony will include Property Appraiser-elect Amy Mercado, Comptroller Phil Diamond, Clerk of Courts Tiffany Moore Russell, Tax Collector Scott Randolph and Supervisor of Elections Bill Cowles. Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings will give opening and welcoming remarks before the constitutional officers take their oath.
