Sit, shake, down — Isla can do it all! She’s a friendly, intelligent, 3-year-old dog who was recently found as a stray. Isla gets along well with other dogs and loves to play with them. She also walks nicely on the leash. Isla already has been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated, so she is ready to go home with a new family immediately.

During the month of August, the shelter is hosting the Summer Splash adoption promotion. All cat and dog adopters can pick a rubber duck out of a bucket, and the bottom of the duck will reveal their new adoption fee of $5, $10, $15 or free.

Orange County Animal Services is located at 2769 Conroy Road in Orlando, near the Mall at Millenia. The shelter is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. For more information, call (407) 836-3111 or visit ocnetpets.com.

Critter Corner showcases local animals available for adoption. If you run a shelter or animal rescue and wish to participate, contact Staff Writer Catherine Sinclair, [email protected].
