Halloween 1958 featured Sissy and Elmer Youngblood at a costume party given by Tom and Mozelle Cox. Tom owned a men’s clothing shop on Plant Street, and his wife owned Mozelle’s Fashion Fair, a shop for women initially located in the Edgewater Hotel. Can anyone verify if the Coxes carried costumes during trick-or-treat season?

The Winter Garden Heritage Foundation, which seeks to preserve our heritage and architecture while creating new cultural experiences, is celebrating its third decade with the debut of its new History Research and Education Center.
