Coffee lovers in Winter Garden now have a new place to grab a cup of coffee.

The BreakRoom, hosted in the lobby of the Crossings Church, is now open mornings seven days a week.

The coffee shop is part of the church’s mission to serve and equip the community and has been in the works since the church moved to its location on Colonial Drive late 2015.

“We wanted it to be a sort of warehouse distribution center where people came in and went out and shared God’s love to our community,” said Meagan Daniel, the manager of the BreakRoom. “When you think of a warehouse, you always have a break room. The break room is where people come from their jobs and they sit and talk and build relationships with each other. They kind of just relax and get away for a second. That’s why we chose the BreakRoom as our name.”

The coffee shop is intended as place where the community can come, enjoy coffee and feel comfortable. The lobby offers free WiFi to guests who want to access the web while enjoying coffee.

Profits go to church ministries while the church decides on a cause or organization to dedicate to.
