Meet the candidates for Orange County Commission District 1

Four candidates are vying for the position being vacated by outgoing County Commissioner S. Scott. Boyd.

In the weeks before the 2016 primary and general elections, the West Orange Times & Observer will examine the candidates for several races. This week, we feature candidates for Orange County Commission District 1, the seat being vacated by outgoing Commissioner S. Scott Boyd.

Candidates include Nuren Haider, Dr. Usha Jain, Robert “Bobby” Olszewski and Betsy VanderLey. 

Voters will make their selections at the primary election, Aug. 30.
