Ocoee sets registration for Before and After School Program

The City of Ocoee’s Before and After School Program provides a safe, fun and engaging environment for children. Residents may register for the program July 18-22. Open enrollment for residents and non-residents will be held July 25.

Registration will be held at the Jim Beech Recreation Center from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The program, open to children ages 5 to 14, is held at the Jim Beech Recreation Center, 1820 A.D. Mims Road. Activities for the program include sports, crafts, homework time and movies.

Children can be dropped off at the Jim Beech Center beginning at 6:30 a.m. Pick-up time ends at 6:30 p.m. Transportation to and from school will be provided for students who attend Citrus, Ocoee Elementary, Prairie Lake and Spring Lake elementary schools and Ocoee Middle School.

The registration fee is $25 per child. For Ocoee residents, weekly tuition for before-school care is $25 and $15 for each additional child. After-school care is $35 and $20 for each additional child. For before- and after-school care, the cost is $60 for the first child and $95 for two children. 

For non-residents, before school care is $35 and $25 for each additional child. After school care is $45 for the first child and $30 for each additional child. For before- and after-school care, the cost is $80 for one child and $135 for two children.

To register, residents should take a photo I.D., a current Ocoee water bill, birth certificate and shot records. The first week’s tuition and $25 registration fee must be paid at registration.
