HORIZON WEST Campers at Windermere Preparatory School’s Lake Cypress summer camp got a taste of the wild side Thursday, July 14, when the zoo came to them. Central Florida Zoo employees brought an owl, snake, hedgehog, gecko and iguana to meet the campers. The kids got to pet the snake and also learned about each individual creature, including its origin, habitat and diet.
