The Blake at Hamlin to host educational Alzheimer's, dementia support group

The Blake at Hamlin, an assisted-living facility in Horizon West, is partnering with VITAS Healthcare to host the first educational Alzheimer's support group in the area.

Attendees also will participate in live dementia training.

Opportunities to meet with VITAS Healthcare members and learn about caregiver support resources also will be available to attendees.

The event will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, at The Blake at Hamlin, located at 4814 Hamlin Groves Trail, Winter Garden.
