West Orange Political Alliance announces endorsements

ORANGE COUNTY COMMISSION
DISTRICT 1 ENDORSEMENT: Betsy VanderLey
DISTRICT 3 ENDORSEMENT: Pete Clarke (incumbent)
DISTRICT 5 ENDORSEMENT: Ted Edwards (incumbent)

VanderLey serves as chairman of the Government Affairs and Advocacy Committee of the West Orange Chamber of Commerce. She is a chamber Chairman’s Award recipient, former Chairman of Orange County Planning & Zoning Commission and was awarded the Orange County District 1 Citizen of the Year by Commissioner Scott Boyd.

“Endorsements, such as the one to Ms. VanderLey, are made after thorough review of all the candidates and those selected represent the best for our community,” said Mark Griffith, WOPA chairman. “We are confident that the people we endorsed will support the needs of the business community in West Orange County.”
