Four stabbed in Ocoee bar incident

The bystanders were stabbed when they tried to stop a domestic dispute early this morning at an Ocoee bar.

OCOEE Four bystanders were stabbed when they tried to stop a domestic dispute early this morning at an Ocoee bar.

According to Ocoee Police Department reports, witnesses observed Nicholas Matthew Schonwit, 26, punch Tiffany Lee Pompino, 25, at about 2:28 a.m. Sunday, June 26, in the parking lot at Frank's Place, Frank’s Place, 146 N. Clarke Road, Ocoee. One witness said both Schonwit and Pompino pulled knives when a group of onlookers tried to intervene and stop the fight. Four people were stabbed during the incident.

Schonwit and Pompino are in a domestic relationship.

Schonwit was arrested for domestic battery, and Pompino for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Both were booked at the Orange County Jail. Further charges are pending on both subjects after the investigation is completed.

Two of the four victims were transported to Orlando Health, and the others were transported to Health Central Hospital.
