WINTER GARDEN  Downtown Winter Garden will be teeming with people Tuesday evening as they take to multiple Plant Street establishments for a "pub crawl" fundraiser.

The event, Winter Garden Squeeze Summer Suds Stroll, will benefit three local organizations: the Winter Garden Squeeze summer collegiate baseball team, the Winter Garden Little League and Matthew's Hope Ministries. The stroll will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. and guests will get to sample myriad craft and specialty beers around town.

Participants must be 21 or older to register and participate. Each registration comes with a Summer Suds Stroll souvenir tasting cup, a wristband and two tasting pours per venue. The event is open to the first 500 participants to register, and all are required to consume servings at the venue where they were served.

There are two registration options. The standard participant option costs $30, and the donating participant option costs $25; however, registrants who choose the donating participant option are "asked to donate a minimum of $5 in value of specific, high-need items for the homeless served by Matthew's Hope Ministries," according to the event page. These needs include canned ham, pastas, spam, soups and coffee. Items must be brought to the registration location.

Additionally, participants can walk up and register, but the price goes up to $35. Players from the Squeeze will be at the event to take photos and sign autographs.
