All pending lawsuits regarding the construction of a new relief high school in West Orange County are being dismissed, Orange County Public Schools announced today.

The Orange County School Board, Orange County, Citizens United and all individually named plaintiffs announced Wednesday that they have jointly agreed to dismiss the three pending lawsuits before the Ninth Judicial Circuit and the Fifth District Court of Appeals.

The voluntary dismissal of all claims will bring closure to the community and end litigation regarding the construction of the new school. The relief high school is slated to open in August 2017. Each party has agreed to bear their own costs, including attorneys’ fees.
