Missing Winter Garden woman found safe

A Winter Garden woman who went missing Saturday night is now home safe and sound.

Jessica Ann Castillo, 18, was originally reported missing May 14. She had last been seen at the Speedway in Winter Garden, but did not come home. Her family filed a missing-persons report with the Winter Garden Police Department.

Jessica and her two siblings, Julie and Joey, are members of their own mariachi band, the Castillo Kids, along with friend Kirkland Jackson. Jessica plays more than six instruments in the band and is also its lead vocalist.

Her father, Joe Castillo, wrote on Facebook Monday evening that she has since been found safe and is now back home.

"We are overwhelmed with joy and happiness to have our sweet Jessica back," wrote her father, Joe Castillo, on Facebook. "Our entire family expresses our sincerest gratitude for every prayer, phone call, text and posts from every single one of you...near and afar. We give the most praise and thanks to God for bringing her home safely."
