Winter Garden acting students to put on "Aladdin Jr." at West Orange High

WINTER GARDEN After months of rehearsing — 20 hours of it this week alone — 41 of Winter Garden’s talented actors and actresses will take the stage starting this weekend at West Orange High to present “Aladdin Jr.”

Put on by Acting Up Theatre Academy in Winter Garden, this production will take place in the ninth-grade center at West Orange High for a total of six shows, beginning Friday night. Show times are: May 27, 7 to 10 p.m.; May 28, 7 to 10 p.m.; May 29, 2:30 to 5 p.m.; June 3, 7 to 10 p.m.; June 4, 7 to 10 p.m.; and June 5, 2:30 to 5 p.m. Concessions will also be available at each show.

Guests can buy “pick-your-own-seat” pre-sale tickets until 11 p.m. Thursday, May 26 online at theauta.org/events. Tickets cost $10 to $15, or $5 for children ages 12 and under.
