OCSO searching for suspect in Pine Hills gas station shooting

Orange County deputies are looking for a suspect who is accused of shooting and critically injuring a man.

PINE HILLS  Orange County deputies are searching for two suspects in a shooting at a Chevron gas station on Silver Star Road in Pine Hills.

According to a press release, the shooting — which took place around 11:20 p.m. May 30 at 5419 Silver Star Road — critically injured a 25-year-old man. Deputies who responded to the call found the man lying in the parking lot with a life-threatening gunshot wound, and the victim was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition. The events leading up to the incident are unknown.

The suspect is described as a black male of unknown age. In surveillance-footage stills released by Orange County Sheriff’s Office Night Investigations Squad, he was wearing a black T-shirt emblazoned with the words “Born Fly,” a black snapback-style hat, denim pants and a long pendant. Deputies said he fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle of unknown make or model.
